1. Who we are and what this policy covers
Equitrace LLC is a business registered in California, United States. This policy covers personal information handled through our website, inquiry forms, and related initial communications about unclaimed funds, tax-sale funds, and potential tariff refunds.
For privacy questions or requests, email securefundrecovery1@gmail.com or call (407) 639-3009. Any additional information needed for an engagement is addressed through the applicable service agreement and appropriate communication channels.
2. Information you provide
Our inquiry forms request your full name, email address, and service of interest. A phone number and a brief message are optional. We also receive information you choose to provide when contacting us by phone or email.
Please do not include Social Security numbers, bank or payment details, identification documents, or other sensitive records in an initial inquiry. Provide information about another person only when you are authorized to do so. If documentation is needed later, we explain the appropriate next steps after you have reviewed any applicable agreement and contingency terms.
3. Website and analytics information
Our hosting and service providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, request times, browser and device information, pages requested, referring pages, and error or security logs to deliver and protect the website. The inquiry system also uses temporary, hashed identifiers derived from network and email information to limit abusive submissions.
We use Google Analytics and Google Search Console for website measurement and search-performance insights. Where Google Analytics is enabled, it may use cookies or similar identifiers and collect information about page visits, interactions, referral sources, browsers, devices, and approximate geographic regions. Search Console provides reports about how the website appears in Google Search, including clicks, impressions, and search queries; it is not an inquiry-form service.
Inquiry names, email addresses, phone numbers, and message contents are not intended to be sent to analytics tools. We use analytics for understanding and improving the website, not for personalized advertising.
4. How we use information
- Respond to your inquiry and communicate about the services you request.
- Understand your situation and explain possible next steps, without guaranteeing eligibility or recovery.
- Operate, troubleshoot, secure, and improve the website.
- Prevent spam, fraud, and misuse, and meet applicable legal obligations.
We do not add inquiry contact details to promotional marketing lists or sell inquiry information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
5. Providers and other disclosures
Information may be processed by the providers supporting these activities:
- Replit: website hosting, inquiry request processing, and technical logs.
- Resend: transmission of successfully submitted inquiry emails, including the contact details and message you provide.
- Google Gmail: the business mailbox used to receive and manage inquiry communications.
- Google Analytics and Search Console: website measurement and search-performance reporting as described above.
- Google Fonts: delivery of website fonts. Your browser sends Google technical request information, including an IP address, requested font URL, and browser headers. Google states that its Fonts API does not set or log cookies.
Providers handle information under their applicable terms and privacy practices. You can read Replit’s privacy policy, Resend’s privacy policy, and Google’s privacy policy.
If your requested service involves an attorney or another professional, any necessary disclosure of your information will be explained in connection with that service and made with your authorization or another lawful basis. We may also disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect legal rights, safety, or the security of our services.
6. Cookies and browser choices
Analytics services may use cookies or similar technologies. You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings and use Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on where supported. These controls affect the relevant browser or device and do not remove information you have already sent directly to us.
The website does not currently implement a separate response to browser “Do Not Track” signals. Do Not Track and legally recognized opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control, are different mechanisms. Rights and obligations concerning those signals depend on applicable law and the tracking configuration; contact us about any privacy choice you wish to exercise. We do not sell inquiry information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
7. Retention and security
We retain inquiry communications for as long as reasonably needed to respond, provide requested services, maintain relevant business records, resolve disputes, and meet applicable legal obligations. There is no single fixed retention period for every record. Technical and analytics data may have separate retention settings or provider retention periods.
We use the website’s HTTPS connection and submission validation and abuse controls to help protect information. No website, email system, or transmission method can guarantee complete security. Please keep sensitive information out of the website form and initial email communications.
Our providers may process information in the United States or other locations where they operate. Privacy protections can differ between locations.
8. Your requests and California privacy rights
You can contact us to ask about information you have provided, request a correction or deletion, or raise a privacy concern. We may need to verify your identity or authority using information proportionate to the request, and some records may need to be retained for legal or legitimate business reasons.
Depending on the law that applies and whether the business meets its applicability requirements, California residents and other visitors may have additional rights to know or access information, correct it, delete it, obtain a copy, or opt out of certain processing. Where applicable, we will handle requests within the legally required time and will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right. An authorized agent may contact us on your behalf, subject to reasonable verification.
This policy does not assume that every provision of the California Consumer Privacy Act applies to every small business. It does not limit rights you have under any applicable law.
9. Children’s information
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly solicit personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided information through the website, contact us so we can review it and take appropriate steps, including deletion when required.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services, providers, or legal obligations change. We will post the revised policy here and update the date above, and provide additional notice when required by law. New uses of information will be handled in accordance with applicable notice and consent requirements.
